The end of an era...
...Okay, not really. But it is the end of the workshop. Thanks to everyone who has helped or participated in True Christianity! I pray that the idea that I have started here will grow into something wonderful. Please feel free to peruse this website whenever you like, and I will keep the Questions page open for anyone who wants to know something about Christianity.
I will miss doing this class every week, but I am glad I did it. Aur Revoir!
PS- I hope I spelled that right, I never took French.

Announcements!
- This week (November 3rd) I am canceling True Christianity because of an opportunity on campus that would be very beneficial. Thursday at 7:30 in 112 Greg Hall Rosalind Picard will be speaking on the topic: Me, Myself, and A.I.. I encourage you to attend this event, I have a feeling it could be informative. I hope to see you there!
- I have a guest post on a blog called Faith Line Protestants, where you can read more about how this workshop has been going!
What is True Christianity about?
Have you ever been frustrated with the hypocrisy that seems to define Christians? Ever wondered exactly how Christians view the world? Non-Christians? Each other?
As a Christian on a secular campus, I've increasingly noticed that people who are not Christians don't always know what the Biblical Christian worldview actually is. Sometimes, non-Christians judge Christianity based on common misconceptions about the faith that they don't realize are false. Other times, people simply don't have enough Christian background to understand exactly what Christians believe. That's why I've designed a weekly workshop for this semester that addresses common misconceptions and tries to explain how exactly Christianity views the world.
This workshop is NOT meant for Christians only; in fact, I invite people of any faith to consider attending. This will not be an apologetics class; it is not my intention to try to prove Christianity. I simply want to explain it. So to those Hindus, Atheists, Muslims, and others who have questions, I encourage you to bring those questions to me, and I will try to answer them all.
The workshop will be meeting every Thursday at 6:30 in 309 ACES Library, starting with September 1st. If you are interested in attending, please message me so that I can keep track of who will be coming.
Whether you intend to attend or not, I would also ask that if you have any questions about Christianity that you think should be addressed, please e-mail me with that question. I have already designated an entire week simply for answering those questions.

About Me
My name is Sarah Stef. I am a senior at the University of Illinois studying Math Secondary Education. I hope that a year from now I will be teaching Middle School math somewhere in Indiana, although I'll take whatever teaching job I can get.
I have been a Christian since I was a young child. My parents, who fled Communism in Romania in order to worship God freely in America, have given me an appreciation for my faith that goes beyond Sundays. I am passionately in love with God, and my walk with Him has led me to be involved with Axiom, a Christian campus ministry that loves to love God and love people by serving them.
I decided to create this workshop because it frustrates me that the world's perception of Christianity is so false. It is based on lies and misconceptions, and I would like to put the record straight.
